War Offset has three simple paths: one for customers, one for merchants, and one for partner organizations.
Step 1
War Offset appears as a simple optional add-on in the order summary.
Step 2
The customer can include it or leave it off before submitting payment.
Step 3
The completed receipt shows the order and War Offset amount together, and checkout War Offset donations are tax-deductible.
Step 1
A merchant signs in and sets up their store to offer War Offset.
Step 2
The store turns on a clear opt-in checkbox at checkout.
Step 3
Merchants give customers a concrete way to support anti-war organizations at checkout and show that choice publicly.
Step 1
Potential partner organizations are reviewed against War Offset’s scope and research standards.
Step 2
Organizations that fit are added to the relevant 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4) funding stream.
Step 3
Organizations appear on the site with their profile, rationale, and current allocation decisions.
War Offset uses a published rate based on research, not guesswork. The percentage is meant to conservatively estimate how much of an ordinary purchase ultimately supports war through taxes.
The checkout amount shows the direct math clearly. Broader anti-war effects are treated more cautiously as modeled impact, not guaranteed one-for-one results.
