Offset formulas

• principal = subtotal x tier_percent / 100
• war_offset_amount = principal + flat_platform_fee

How to read the math

• principal is the amount routed into c3 and c4 treasury buckets.
• war_offset_amount is the full add-on shown at checkout.
• The fixed fee is included in the checkout add-on, not the routed principal.

Partner allocation math

• fund_type = c3 routes 100% to c3.
• fund_type = c4 routes 100% to c4.
• fund_type = split uses the selected split, defaulting to 50/50.

Tier assumptions

Tier percentages are stored in ~/sites/.sitedata//data/config/tiers.json. They are rounded policy coefficients, not claims about any one person’s exact tax burden.

• Federal defense share is represented through the tier coefficients.
• Part of the war-debt-interest burden is absorbed into those rounded coefficients.
• Domestic tax-incidence effects are represented at a coarse level.
• Veterans’ healthcare and state or local war-related spending are excluded by default.

Measured vs. modeled

Exact and auditable. Runtime tier coefficients, fee configuration, quote results, settlement results, receipts, and ledger events.

Estimated or modeled. Whether a chosen tier matches any one person’s true tax incidence, and IER projections built from scenario assumptions.
